Our beautiful, two-tone Kalaha chess set is made from tropical softwoods of the Samena Samenis (dark) and Helvea (light) trees. The strip-glued construction prevents warping of the chess set due to climatic changes.
After processing, the game is treated with natural oil and wax, resulting in a velvety surface.
The different wood grains are natural and due to the tree's growth conditions.
Care: Wipe the game occasionally with a damp cloth and then rub it thinly with a vegetable oil.
