...think with marbles.
KULAMI is a strategic marble-laying game for two players, played on a variable board. Differently sized wooden tiles with recesses for glass marbles are combined to form a playing field. By skillfully placing their glass marbles, players attempt to capture as many tiles as possible by occupying the majority of the recesses on a wooden board.
What's special about KULAMI: Each move builds on the previous one. The last marble placed determines the rows in which the next player can place their marble. The more cleverly this rule is used, the better you can direct the paths of the glass beads and place your marbles on the tiles you want to capture.
In the advanced expansion, there are additional points for connected rows and territories that players can build.
Since the wooden tiles are continually combined to form new fields, each game develops its own dynamic.
KULAMI is not only a challenge for the grey matter, but thanks to its unusual material it is also a pleasure for the eye and hand.
