KULAMI from Steffen Spiele is an exceptional strategic tile-laying game for two players that combines logic, strategic thinking, and tactical awareness. The game board is created anew in every game: differently sized wooden tiles with indentations are constantly rearranged to form a variable game board. Players take turns placing their glass marbles into these indentations, trying to claim as many tiles as possible.

The goal is simple, yet tactically demanding: Whoever occupies the majority of the pits on a wooden board with their marbles conquers that space. But getting there requires clever planning. What makes KULAMI special is its ingenious movement rule: Each move builds directly on the previous one. The last marble placed determines the rows in which the next player may place their marble. This creates exciting strategic possibilities – those who skillfully use this rule can strategically guide the paths of the glass beads and control important boards.

With each move, the tactical intricacies of the game board grow. Players must think ahead, recognize opportunities, and simultaneously prevent their opponent from capturing crucial spaces. The advanced expansion adds further depth to the game: bonus points are awarded for cleverly constructed, connected rows and territories.
