A devilishly tricky stacking game.
With 27 by Steffen Spiele, a game awaits you that is as simple as it is sophisticated, appearing surprisingly easy at first glance – and yet offering new challenges with every round.
It couldn't be simpler: your discs need to reach the other end of the path, the goal is only seven steps away. But this is precisely where the game's intricate dynamics begin. After every move, everything changes – the number of your towers, their heights, the possible move distances, and even the length of the path. What just seemed clear suddenly becomes a tactical challenge.
While you try to adjust your strategy, your opponent comes towards you with their discs, constantly getting in your way. The seemingly harmless stroll quickly turns into a dangerous balancing act, where every move is crucial.
The minimalist stacking game for two players begins with seven gray discs laid out in a row. At both ends are the red discs as target points. Players then stack their nine black or white discs onto the row – and the duel can begin.
The goal is to have the taller tower on the opposing red stone at the end. A player's own tower is moved exactly as many spaces as they currently have towers. Particularly exciting: towers can be split, and with skillful moves, even opponent's discs can be "stolen" and integrated.
With its clear rules and enormous tactical depth, 27 is an entertaining game that constantly challenges anew. Ideal for anyone who loves strategic duels and enjoys thinking flexibly.
