BARRAGOON presents itself as an exceptionally exciting and eventful strategy game for all who love tactical challenges without a luck factor. The goal of the game is clear: each player tries to capture or immobilize all opposing pieces by skillfully moving their game pieces and cleverly placing the cube-shaped Barragoons. Whoever no longer has any game pieces or can no longer make a legal move loses the game.
The namesake Barragoon is the heart of the game. Each of its six sides shows a different symbol and thus determines from which directions the Barragoon may be overrun. This constantly creates new game situations and surprising possibilities. Captured Barragoons are immediately redeployed on the board – naturally, to the disadvantage of the opponent if possible. This way, one's own pieces can be protected, paths can be blocked, or opposing game pieces can be cleverly encircled. But beware: a Barragoon can later also thwart one's own plan.
The special highlight of BARRAGOON: whenever a game piece is captured, two new Barragoons enter the game. The board becomes increasingly crowded, the tension rises, and every decision gains importance. This keeps every game exciting and unpredictable until the very last move.
