In the perspective game CUBE by Gerhards Spiel und Design, everything revolves around clever observation and tactical thinking. Up to four players simultaneously try to correctly recreate the color combinations of their secret task cards on the game board. But beware: what looks right at first glance can appear completely different from another angle – because CUBE is a puzzle game with a spatial challenge.
At the heart of the game is a high-quality wooden game board with a recessed ball on the underside. This allows it to be easily rotated in all directions, offering entirely new perspectives. Players see the game board from different angles: from above or from one of the four sides. The goal? To identify their own task and complete it faster than the other players.
Each move brings movement: either a new wooden cube is drawn face down and placed, or a cube already in play is moved. Each action affects the visibility and position of the colors – which is crucial for solving the cards.
A cube can conceal or reveal; its position can make the difference between success and failure. It becomes especially tricky when the cubes are on different planes – here, perspective determines the outcome. Only visible colors count!
