What makes Giro so special: It consists of nine pieces, each made up of one cube and two half-cubes (a diagonal cut through a whole cube). Therefore, each piece occupies the space of two cubes, and nine pieces fill a 3 × 3 × 2 box. Sounds simple? Trying to arrange them, however, is a big challenge, and we believe there is only one solution.
