Beschreibung

Edward de Bono (died June 2021) is considered one of the leading teachers of creative and effective thinking. He developed a variety of techniques—including his Thinking Hats—designed to help people find new ideas and break free from established thought patterns. His L-Game is a wonderful wooden game for two people, which he developed around 1966. His criteria in developing the L-Game were:

  • as few pieces as possible
  • a game board as small as possible
  • as few rules as possible so that it is easy to learn and play
  • the game should still be interesting for experienced players
  • it should not be deterministic

The game consists of two L-shaped pieces (light and dark) and two square pieces, which are moved on a 16-square board. The goal of the game is to maneuver the opponent into a position where they can no longer move their L-shaped piece. This wins the game.
