But to track them down, it takes more than luck: You send ultrasonic waves deep into the rock, follow rays of light through the earth's crust, and decipher signals that are reflected, discolored, and distorted. Only those who cleverly combine, recognize patterns, and draw the right conclusions will ultimately identify all the crystals precisely.
ORAPA is an extraordinary deduction game with instant addictive potential. Quickly explained, yet full of tactical possibilities, the basic principle initially resembles Battleship – and develops from this into a completely unique gaming experience. Behind a screen, you place geometric figures such as a large blue triangle, a white rhombus, or a red parallelogram on your secret grid. These shapes represent valuable crystals that your opponent must locate during the game.
Each player has their own deduction sheet on which clues are collected and possible positions are marked. On your turn, you have three options: You can directly solve and try to completely decipher the opponent's grid. You can query individual coordinates like "B2" to get information about colors and positions. Or you can use the most exciting option of the game: the light beam.
In doing so, you query an entire row or column and symbolically send a beam through the depths of the mine.
