Beschreibung

SENET
is an ancient Egyptian A game of four copies found in Tutankhamun's tomb. It was a royal game. The rules have not been preserved but have been reconstructed. It is a tactical game. It is played with sticks instead of dice.
The game is played by 2 players and lasts about a quarter of an hour.
The playing field is divided into three rows of 10 squares each. A drawer contains the five natural-colored and five green wooden pieces, as well as the four semicircular wooden sticks (the dice).
The goal of the game is to be the first to move all of your pieces across the 30 squares. This can involve defeating your opponent or, under certain conditions, requiring players to move backward. Five of the 30 squares bear various ancient Egyptian symbols, making it difficult for players to move through.
