NONAGA by Steffen Spiele is a gripping strategy game for two players that generates maximum excitement with minimal resources. On a compact game board, a duel unfolds in close quarters, where six game pieces come to life. Their goal: to connect – and to do so faster than their opponent. But the path to achieving this is full of surprises!
The unique feature of NONAGA lies in the movable discs on which the playing pieces stand. After each move, one of these discs may (or must) be moved. This constantly changes the playing field – seemingly secure positions can become ineffective in the next moment. Tactical thinking, forward planning, and flexibility are essential.
Each player controls three stones. The first player to unite all three on adjacent discs wins. But that's easier said than done, because your opponent has the same goal – and every move can give them an advantage or set you back significantly.
